Since 1928, Viejo de Caldas has been the leading rum in the Colombian market, highly regarded throughout Latin America.
Amber in color, transparent, created to satisfy the demanding world demand in a type of rum, whose flavor and aroma are obtained through a refined process of elaboration and aging in oak barrels.
Exquisite and traditional rum, produced from sugar cane, is aged in oak barrels for three years, so that it can acquire its characteristic flavors and texture.
In September 2005, Rum Viejo de Caldas received the Superior Flavor Award in Brussels, a recognition conferred by the International Institute of Flavors and Quality (ITQI, its acronym in English), an independent body that seeks to promote excellence in food and in drinks.

Dal 1928, Viejo de Caldas è il rum leader nel mercato colombiano, molto apprezzato in tutta l'America Latina.
Di colore ambrato, trasparente, creato per soddisfare l'esigente domanda mondiale in un tipo di rum, il cui sapore e aroma si ottengono tramite un raffinato processo di elaborazione e invecchiamento in barili di rovere.
Rum squisito e tradizionale, prodotto a partire dalla canna da zucchero, viene invecchiato in botti di rovere per tre anni, affinchè possa acquisire i suoi caratteristici sapori e consistenza.
Nel settembre 2005, il Rum Viejo de Caldas ha ricevuto a Bruxelles il Premio Sapore Superiore, riconoscimento conferito dall'Istituto Internazionale di Sapori e Qualità (ITQI, la sua sigla in inglese), un organismo indipendente che cerca di promuovere l'eccellenza negli alimenti e nelle bevande.
